Our mission is to work for the future – shaping desirable futures and making them possible through sports and education projects especially for children and youth.

Our greatest wish is to create positive, sustainable change for society and the environment. With the donations raised through our Rotary fundraising events, we support children and young people locally and internationally, through sports & education projects.

What is the DNA of RCSI?

We are courageous pioneers and committed team players.

We focus on teamwork and social skills. Active involvement in the RCSI is inspiring, fun and meaningful. We organise our teamwork and projects in a modern, creative and digital way.

Our DNA at RCSI is colorful and interdisciplinary, influenced by a wide variety of cultures, lifestyles and professions.

We are inclusive, not exclusive. We are not interested in status or hierarchies. People at RCSI share future courage and our meaning- & community-oriented values.

The Rotarian values are important to us – in other ways we are refreshingly different: not formal, not status-oriented, no traditional thinking & no traditional procedures. We are relaxed, casual, warm and open. Come & be who you are.

We are convinced that by combining forces and ideas in our complex world, we can also achieve much more in Rotarian charity projects.

In our young club there is a very cordial atmosphere. We are on a first name basis & our meetings are friendly, cheerful, informal and open. Guests are always welcomed with open arms.

Catching the Olympic Spirit

‘Catching the Olympic Spirit’ is an inspiring documentary film that follows the journey of seven young athletes to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The film was produced in collaboration with Athletes for Ukraine (A4U) and with the financial support of all Salzburg Rotary Clubs. The young people experience unforgettable moments, immerse themselves in the Olympic spirit and discover new sporting dreams. A film about courage, solidarity and the power of sport to build bridges between nations and cultures.

All charity projects supported by RCSI inspire and empower children and young people to discover and develop their own potential so that they can shape their own futures and succeed.

Every young person in the world should have a full and fair chance to progress.

We work to achieve this – by supporting sports and education projects – internationally and locally.
